Matthew 16:13-20
“Who do you say that I am?”
Is Jesus asking the disciples who they think he is or is Jesus asking the disciples who they think God is? Is Jesus asking if the disciples think that he is the Christ or is Jesus asking if the disciples think God is something other than God? Is this a question messianic question or a question about God?
